  • Examining the Impact of Decriminalizing or Legalizing Cannabis: Top 10 Insights

    As a follow-up to a recent publication, the McMaster Health Forum and Michael G. DeGroote Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research is hosting a webinar to discuss cannabis legalization efforts. Discussions will include a review of the top 10 insights surrounding the impact of decriminalizing or legalizing cannabis, as well as offer webinar attendees an opportunity to learn more about the Centre.

    This two hour session will be an interactive, moderated discussion about the impacts, benefits and risks following cannabis legalization in Canada. We will bring together a number of stakeholders from across Canada to highlight issues and opportunities.

    The Michael G. DeGroote Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research is hosting its third conference in May 2021. The event will create a forum to share results from ongoing research efforts of the Centre’s associated faculty members and bring together world-class experts in the fields of addictions, mental health and pain research to discuss work in the area of medicinal cannabis.
