Seed Grants
These grants available through the Centre will provide principal investigators with access to funds required to jump-start projects related to medicinal cannabis research. While the focus of this Centre is on research related to pain, mental health and substance abuse disorders, seed grants are also available for other areas, including but not limited to economics, policy, and biochemistry-related work. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis.
Michael G. DeGroote Graduate Studentship
This graduate studentship in medicinal cannabis research provides graduate students with the opportunity to pursue leading-edge projects. These studentships aim to encourage and support research training and provide salary support to individuals with an exceptional background and an interest in research relating to medicinal cannabis. Successful candidates for these awards will work with faculty who are conducting innovative research and are considered among the best in their field.
Michael G. DeGroote Fellowship Award
This fellowship award for medicinal cannabis research will provide postdoctoral candidates or fellows with the opportunity to pursue leading-edge research. These fellowships aim to encourage and support medicinal cannabis research training and provide salary support to individuals with an interest in a career path related to pain. Successful candidates for these awards will have the opportunity to work with faculty who are conducting innovative research and are considered among the best in their field.
