Conference Info-2023

October 10th – 12th, 2023 – L.R. Wilson Hall, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

At the five-year anniversary of recreational cannabis legalization, the main theme for the conference this year is an evidence-based approach to understanding its impacts from a variety of different perspectives.

The Tuesday sessions are our Cannabis Foundations series, comprising four presentations on cannabis fundamentals, the state of the evidence for medical cannabis, known risks and harms of cannabis, and practical guidance for medical cannabis for pain. These sessions are Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited.

The Tuesday sessions are virtual and the sessions on Wednesday and Thursday will be available as both in-person and virtual attendance. Registration fees are scaled to the type of attendance.

Registration for the conference includes all three days. There are no single-day tickets.

Group discounts are available by emailing cmcr@mcmaster.ca.

More conference details are below.

“WE ARE NOT PRO-CANNABIS OR ANTI-CANNABIS. WE ARE PRO-DATA AND PRO-SCIENCE AND ARE LOOKING TO GATHER THE BEST EVIDENCE WE CAN REGARDING MEDICINAL CANNABIS.”
